Doctor Nicholas Pericone prescription offers
the key to wrinkle cure, rejuvenate skin, lose weight and make a
healthy hear, by its 28-day program diet.
Being a former assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Yale
University School of Medicine, now a visiting professor at Michigan
State University's College of Human Medicine, Doctor Nicholas Pericone
wrote a lot of books regarding the ways to defend aging.
He propose an eating plan, facial exercises, nutrient supplements,
advices how we can look younger, stay healthy and defend aging.
His diet is based on consuming high-protein aliments, lots of water,
reducing the bad fats and using the right carbohydrates. The main
idea that this diet is based on, is that some aliments causes cell
injury, called inflammation and that is what is leading to aging.
Related to aging, as Dr. Pericone affirm, some illnesses, like heart
diseases, cancer, auto immune disease, and wrinkled, sagging skin,
are caused also by cell inflammation.
The anti-inflammatory diet consists of high quality protein, like
that found in fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, adequate amounts
of good fat, like that found in salmon, flax, nuts, seeds and olive
oil. These aliments contain antioxidants that promote overall health,
and protect cells form injury. Sugar
is not allowed because, as Dr. Pericone says it causes inflammation
that destroys our bodies and attaches to collagen, which results
in stiff, inflexible, sagging skin.
But there is not yet entirely known if the inflammation causes aging
or diseases. It has been demonstrated a relationship between inflammation
and diseases, but it is not known if the inflammation is a cause
or a result, nor is there evidence that inflammation causes wrinkles.
The
only sure cause that produces wrinkles is smoke cigarettes and sun
light.
This diet consists in three meals, rich in protein, and two snacks,
while sugar is forbidden. Nutrient supplements are necessary. Vitamins
like A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, or folate, biotin, calcium, chromium,
magnesium, selenium, acetyl l-carnitine, coenzyme Q10, l-glutamine,
omega-3 fatty acids, grape seed extract, gamma linoleic acid have
to be taken. This
diet is strict, costly, and largely unproven, as there aren’t
sufficiently scientifically results published. Also you have to
be a fish eater, because this diet is based upon fish consummation.
Pericone is updating an old theory about taking lots of vitamins,
because the lack of it causes aging. He said that he tested on it-self
the taking of lots of nutrient supplements, and that he obtained
great results.
But there are no scientifically studies that demonstrate that a
supplement of vitamins to an already adequate diet can prevent inflammation.
The face treatments are also based on vitamins, and also exercises
are required at least 40 minutes/day, 6 days/week. Doctor Pericone
has his own skin care products, witch he recommends.
He also recommends spring water not tap water, saying that spring
water helps flushing the toxins out of the organism. This is also
an argument that is not proven. It is known that tap water is microbiologically
tested so it can be delivered to the peoples, but spring water can
sometimes have a higher microbe level, and there is no difference
in flushing out the toxins from the body between spring water and
tap water.
After 28-day of following the Pericone diet, the doctor promises
that yours lines and wrinkles will be dramatically reduced and that
you will achieve a younger look and a great health, because hid
diet will decrease inflammation in every organ, will improve the
metabolism, repair the skin, and can help you lose weight.
But there are insufficient scientifically profs that his statements
are real, as the base of this diet in upon the individual studies
that he claims he has done.

Didn't Dr. Perricone suggest giving up coffee in regards to weight loss? Something about the contnets of coffee helping fat cells to collect and making it more difficult to loss weight and causing puffiness.
